Assistant Principal's Bio
Mackenzie Kassner
Mackenzie Kassner has been selected to serve as the Lexington Middle School Assistant Principal for the 2024-2025 academic year. A proud graduate of Lexington High School in 2013, Mackenzie is excited to return to her hometown. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M in 2017 and pursued further education, earning a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University in 2022.
Mrs. Kassner's experience includes secondary math, special education, campus behavior teacher, character education, Junior High girls' athletic coordinator, and coaching at the high school level. Her involvement in LPAC and experience in Special Education have provided her with essential skills to support student success and advocate for inclusive educational practices.
Mrs. Kassner and her husband together have one daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family and taking trips to national parks. Her hobbies include fishing, cooking, playing tennis, and traveling.
