Assistant Principal's Bio

Brettne Lindgren

 

Brettne Lindgren was named the Assistant Principal of Lexington Middle School in the summer of 2020. Mrs. Lindgren is a 1998 graduate of Pflugerville High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Education with emphasis in Early Childhood Development and Childhood Psychology in December of 2001. Mrs. Lindgren started her career in public education in 2013 and taught Kindergarten her first year of teaching. She then moved to middle school math for 5 years and 8th grade science for 2 years. Mrs. Lindgren graduated from Lamar University with her Master’s Degree in Education with a Principal’s Certification in May of 2018. The 2020-21 school year will be her first year as an administrator.


Mrs. Lindgren is married to Shane Lindgren, her high school sweetheart of 24 years. She has three daughters, Ciera, Briana Sage, and Allysen who attend LISD as well. Mrs. Lindgren loves raising animals with her daughters through 4H, is Vice President of the Pflugerville Ag and Youth Booster Club supporting kiddos who participate in raising livestock projects and creating Youth Fair items, and is on the Board of Directors for the Travis County Youth Show in Austin. Her favorite activities include spending time with her family, watching movies, reading, hanging out with friends and neighbors, and playing the domino game 42.
