Principal's Message

Dear Eagle Family,

Welcome to Lexington Middle School!  I am Andre Johnson and I am excited to serve our community as the Middle School Principal. It is my pleasure to welcome you to Lexington Middle School.  The teachers and staff join me in saying we are happy to have you as part of our school family.  We know this will be a successful and satisfying year for you. 

Our biggest goal for this school year is to help your child be successful and achieve academic excellence.  By working together as parents and educators, we can build a foundation for lifelong learning.  The staff of Lexington Middle School is dedicated to establishing a safe learning environment for our students.  We care about all of our students and we will go to great lengths to ensure their academic success.  Our purpose is to prepare our students to have a successful future and develop into productive members of our society.  We hope to accomplish this by developing engaging lessons that will challenge each student to reach a higher level academically. 

The middle school years are a transition period from one phase of life to the next.  There will be a lot of new and exciting things for each student to get involved in including various athletic teams, Academic UIL events, and many different Fine Arts groups.  We encourage each student to be a part of an organization and show their Eagle Pride.  We look forward to working with you.
